Set against the backdrop of Upstate New York, this project transforms a Ghent estate into a modern compound designed for connection and quiet living. Our design unites a clean, gunite pool with a naturalistic meadow landscape, framed by a stacked stone wall that serves as both a retaining wall and a built-in seating area. The space is further defined by a tranquil koi pond and an edible garden, inviting a deeper, more personal interaction with the land. It’s a landscape where structured design meets the wild beauty of its surroundings, creating a truly unique sanctuary.
