Brook Landscape donates a garden to Planet Awesome Kid raising money for the charity Global Action for Children

Brook Landscape teamed up with Planet Awesome Kid creating a magical plant world helping raise money for the charity Global Action for Children. We set up a plant maze that opened up into a toddler play room made with a colorful recycled rug flooring enclosed in grasses with driftwood seating. A rad planting station was set up were kids could transplant clippings from larger jade plants to planters they constructed from recycled newspaper to take home. The event was a big success!

Log Carving

I designed this log to fit in one of our urban landscapes. It took a couple days to turn the full 17′ log into two great pieces of outdoor furniture. I love this couch but prefer the rocking chair because it’s amusing in addition to being dynamic. We are finishing up a prototype of our new Coney Island glider that will be coming out this spring.

The finale outdoor friendly love seat will be made from the IPE reclaimed from Brooklyn New York’s very own Coney Island boardwalk. These original organic furniture pieces will add character and life to any landscape urban or suburban.

Brownstone climbing

I have only been rock climbing a few times since moving to NYC, and my dusty gear came in handy on this project. Vines up the front of the townhouse have a great softening effect. You should have seen the monster dyno from the 3rd story window to the lip of the roof, shots out to grippo. I love being a landscaper! insurances carriers fear not this was done a long time ago. I have a friend that will do it next time. I’ll refer him to our clients to execute without Brook Landscapes involvement
